Political parties, media and experts are actively exchanging views over unclear Brexit scenarios, including the option of an exit from Brexit. On 21 September 2017 Dr Aija Lulle, YMOBILITY researcher from the University of Sussex, met with Vince Cable, the leader of Liberal Democrats.
YMOBILITY research provides the rich empirical evidence of youth mobility in the EU. 30,000 questionnaires and more than 840 in-depth interviews were collected. Of these 127 in-depth interviews were collected in the London area before the EU Referendum and repeat interviews were collected after the EU Referendum in 2016 and 2017. The YMOBILITY Sussex team believes that providing robust evidence from the lives of young Europeans is of paramount importance. Reaching out to politicians and disseminating our results to wide audiences is crucial for better informed policies that would impact the lives of many thousands of young Europeans working and residing in the UK.
